FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) heat shrink tubing allows you to benefit from lower shrink temperature at 210°C (410°F), particularly in medical device applications such as catheter manufacturing. It’s easier to process than PTFE heat shrink tubing and with its properties of dielectric insulation and chemical resistance, it becomes a perfect option as protecting sleeve.
AP Technologies offers FEP heat shrink tubing with thinner walls and higher shrink ratios, available in custom sizes, and lengths.
